We took a tour of Naistenklinikka (our birth hospital) today, and here's what we learned:
1. call first, because they may be full.
2. if your water breaks, you usually can wait 12 hours before going to the hospital.
3. it's best to come with an 'open mind'.
1. no, thank goodness 2. well, my water broke after we got to the hospital and about 4 hours before the birth. so faux! but i guess that the point is that the water is less relevant than the contractions. 3. yes, it helps! here again i guess it's that birth plans are nice but sometimes nature has other plans.
