The barnehage teachers always tell me how Otso doesn't really like painting. Apparently all the other kids like to fingerpaint, but Otso doesn't. But then they gave him a brush and he participated tolerably.
Looks sad to me, too. I hated having to "do" art when someone else said it was time, too. Memories from kindergarten were liking recess, my teacher living at the school (Hawaii), and hating having to paint. that's it! Art should be spontaneous, when you WANT to, but that's not the way it works in school/daycare. Bless his heart!!!!
